Class activities for Thursday, May 10
Spelling: Today was a preview of upcoming spelling words. The unit 11 worksheets were also made available and can be printed from here.
Cursive: Ten cursive sentences of seven or more words are due each Friday.
Reading: Today was a reading day in Literature Circles. Some groups worked on connections and visualizing.
Writing: Students continued working on their draft articles for our class newspaper project about our fourth grade year.
Math: We worked on equivalent fractions and also made fractions cards that we will use next week.
Science: We learned about how the sun, moon and earth move (rotate and revolve). We also made minibooks and took notes about the sun, moon and earth.
Social Studies: None due to an extra science time.
