Class activities for Wednesday, October 14
Spelling: We reviewed common spelling patterns for the /k/ sound: k, ck, ch, c and qu.
Cursive: Cursive worksheet pp. 38-40 are available and due on Friday.
Reading: Today was the last work day for Literature Circles projects. Groups will present on Friday.
Writing: Students were introduced to editing conferences today.
The next piece of writing, a personal narrative, will be due Friday, October 16. Students should be editing by now.
Math: We used raisins to do a math experiment involving the data landmarks of minimum, maximum, range, and mode. Homework is to finish StudyLink 2.5.
Science: None today due to library.
Social Studies: We started learning about Michigan’s natural resources.
