Class activities for Monday, May 24
Spelling: We reviewed the homophones there/their/they’re and theirs/there’s. This will be the skill test on tomorrow’s spelling test.
Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due on Fridays.
Reading: Today was a discussion day in Literature Circles.
Writing: Students were introduced to our final writing piece of the year, called Find It, Decide It. Here are the guidelines.
Math: We practiced solving multiplication and division number stories. Homework is to finish Journal pp 153-155.
Science: Students played Food Chain Rummy to practice making food chains and webs.
Social Studies: None due to extra time with writing.
