Class activities for Tuesday, June 1
Spelling: None today.
Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due on Fridays.
Reading: None today due to a concert by the West Middle School 8th grade band.
Writing: None today due to art.
Students are continuing to work on their Find It, Decide It project, due Friday, June 11.

Math: We reviewed multiplying and dividing numbers with decimals. We also began a unit on fractions. Homework is to finish Journal pp. 189-192.
Science: We reviewed producers, consumers and decomposers today by playing a game.
Social Studies: We learned that the preamble to the Constitution states that there are several purposes for our government:
- To create a better country;
- To make things fair;
- To keep things peaceful;
- To defend our people;
- To help people;
- To keep our country free, now and in the future.
Homework is to finish the Preamble page started in class.
