Class activities for Wednesday, November 3
Spelling: None due to extra time with Social Studies.
Cursive: Ten cursive sentences of seven or more words each are due on Fridays.
Reading: None today due to extra time with Social Studies. We reviewed the branches of government, how bills become laws, and the election results from yesterday.
Writing: Today was a work day in writing.
A slightly fictionalized personal narrative is due Monday, November 8. Students should be editing at this time.
Math: None today due to a music aptitude test by Marshall Music.
We will have a math test tomorrow over these ideas:
- Addition, subtraction and multiplication of whole numbers and decimals;
- Rounding;
- Estimating products;
- Place value; and,
- Solving number stories.
Science: None on Wednesdays due to Library.
Social Studies: Students completed a test today about American Indian Cultural Regions.
