Class activities for Thursday, December 1
Spelling: We started to review rules for capitalization. Today, we remembered that specific names are capitalized.
Cursive: Cursive pp. 45-47 are available and due Friday.
Reading: Today was a reading day in Literature Circles.
Writing: Today was a drafting day in writing.
The next piece of writing is a fiction story, due Friday, December 16. Students should be drafting at this time.
Math: None today due to Bring a Family Member to School Day. Homework is to play Toss and Talk (a rounding game) with a family member.
Science: None today due to extra time with social studies.
Social Studies: We finished learning about how the auto industry has changed over time.
