Class activities for Monday, April 8
Spelling: Students started making Words to Learn lists from words missed on the last spelling test.
Cursive: Ten cursive sentences of seven or more words each are due on Fridays.
Reading: Students started projects to share their last Literature Circles book with the class.
Writing: Students worked on their I-Search research project by collecting information about their topic. This informational project will be due Friday, April 26, when students present their findings during our I-Search Conference. Students should be researching their presentation topic at this point.
Math: We practiced subtracting mixed numbers. Homework is to finish Journal P10-5.
Science: We started a new unit and experiment about measuring speed.
Social Studies: None today due to our math skills practice time.
