Class activities for Friday, October 24
Spelling: We reviewed common patterns for the /er/ sound: –er, -ar, and -or.
Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due on Fridays.
Reading: None today due to art.
Writing: Today was a revising day.
A personal narrative, slightly fictionalized, is due Friday, October 31. Your student should be revising by now.
Math: Students practiced math skills, mainly adding and subtracting decimals, using Khan Academy.
Homework is to practice math for 15 minutes or more using MobyMax or Khan Academy.
Science: Students looked at dissected hearts, lungs, chicken legs and wings, and eyes today. Here are some pictures.
Social Studies: None today due to the late start schedule.
