Class activities for Monday, March 19

Spelling: None today.

Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due Friday.

Reading: Students completed a STAR Reading test today.

Writing: Students worked on drafting their novel again today. Your student should be at 90% of their count by tonight. The class average is 66%, so many students in our class are behind schedule. You can see updated word counts at Jupiter Ed.

The novel project is due Wednesday, March 28. Homework is work on writing for at least 15 minutes.

Math: We practiced dividing two-digit numbers today using MobyMax Math. Homework is to practice math for 15 minutes using MobyMax or Khan Academy.

Science: Students completed experiment about finding electrical conductors and insulators. Homework is to finish the Conductors and Insulators experiment if not done in class.

Social Studies: We used a simlulation to help us understand circular flow–how money moves in an economy between people and businesses.

Character Strength: We learned about zest and enthusiasm a final day today.
