Class activities for Tuesday, November 20
Spelling: Students completed a spelling and skill test.
Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due Fridays.
Reading: Today was a discussion day in Literature Circles.
Writing: Students worked on editing and editing conferences today. A fiction story is due Sunday, November 25. Homework on weekdays is to work on writing for 15 minutes. Your student should be finished with their draft and revising by now.
Math: Students worked on reviewing multiplying without regrouping today. Homework on weekdays is to practice math for 15 minutes using MobyMax or Khan Academy.
Science: We looked at healthy soil and poor soil to see how soil would make a difference for plants.
Social Studies: None today.
Character Strength: We are learning about gratitude again this week.
