Class activities for Monday, November 6
Spelling: Today we reviewed the “Stretch It” page of the Unit 3 spelling worksheets.
Cursive: Cursive worksheets pp. 33-35 were made available and are due on Friday.
Reading: Today was the last Literature Circles project work day for groups. Projects will be presented on Wednesday.
Writing: None today due to technology. The next piece of writing will be due December 1.
Math: We made a bar graph of student head sizes and calculated the median head size. Homework is to finish journal pp. 43-45.
Science: We reviewed the Path Finders experiment from Thursday. Homework is to complete the “Repair Manual” worksheet.
Social Studies: Students completed a test over our study of US Regions.
Behavior Update:

- Oranges: no magnets
- Reds: none
Ask your student what kind of choices they made.
Notes:
- No school tomorrow due to election day.

- Appointments are now being made for fall conferences, November 14-16. A sign-up sheet is located at the office windows.
- We are looking for donations of cardboard tubes (toilet tissue, paper towel, wrapping paper) for class projects. The tubes can be sent in any time during the year; this project will be on-going. Thanks for any help you can give!
