Class activities for Tuesday, May 20
Spelling: We practiced using letter tiles to make words containing the /s/ sound formed by c spelling patterns (e.g., recent, cereal, city).
Cursive: Ten cursive sentences of at least seven words each are due Friday.
Reading: Today was a reading day in Literature Circles. Some groups worked on inferring as a strategy.
Writing: None today due practicing for the fourth grade musical.
Math: We continued a review of fractions today. Homework is to complete Journal pp. 190-191.
Science: We learned about how the earth’s water is only 3% freshwater, and that water is used for many different reasons. Homework is to complete Investigation Review p. 84.

Social Studies: We read about life as a pioneer in Michigan.
