Class activites for Monday, March 23
Spelling: Today students completed their Words to Learn list of missed spelling words.
Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due Fridays.
Reading: Today, the final two Literature Circles groups presented projects to share their books with the class.
Writing: Students continued to work on their novel being written and typed at docs.mrhowd.com. Ask your student what their word count goal is and how many words they have written so far. Math: Students learned how to multiply with the distributive property: 54 x 25 = (50+4) x (20 + 5).
Science: Students worked on a melodrama about weather safety.
Social Studies: We learned that men and women from the Three Fires people of Michigan were responsible for different jobs and tasks.
