Class activities for Friday, June 4
Spelling: None today.
Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due on Fridays.
Reading: Today was a discussion day in Literature Circles.
Writing: Students continued to work on their Find It, Decide It project, due Friday, June 11.

Math: We reviewed calculating what the fraction of a number would be, such as 2/3 of 24 equals 16.
Science: We learned about adaptations that can help an animal to survive in its environment, such as a frogs strong legs, big eyes, sticky tongue and webbed feet.
Social Studies: We reviewed the branches (legislative, executive, judicial) and levels (local, state, federal) of government and we started to discuss what powers our federal government has.
