Class activities for Monday, January 3
Spelling: We practiced spelling longer words by dividing the words into syllables.
Cursive: Ten cursive sentences of seven or more words each are due on Fridays.
Reading: Today was a discussion day in Literature Circles.
Writing: We talked about using a symmetrical design in a story by having similar story elements in the first half and second half of a story.
Our next piece of writing, a fiction piece, will be due Wednesday, January 19. Students should be prewriting at this time.
Math: None today due to extra time with science.
Science: We reviewed the clinical trial simulation experiment and the Analysis questions.
Social Studies: None today due to extra time with science.
