Class activities for Wednesday, January 12
Spelling: None today. We will have a spelling test later in the week.
Cursive: Ten cursive sentences of seven or more words each are due on Fridays.
Reading: We previewed new Literature Circles books today.
Writing: Today was a work day in writing.
Our next piece of writing, a fiction piece, will be due Friday, January 21. Students should be finished with their draft and revising at this time.
Math: We reviewed the partial-quotients method of division today. Homework is to finish Puzzle p. 6.
Science: None today due to library.
Social Studies: Some students in class performed a play about the Jamestown colony. Homework is to finish Notebook p. 35.
