Class activities for Thursday, May 24
Spelling: None today.
Cursive: No new cursive assignments for the remainder of the year.
Reading: We read our shared reading book, Esperanza Rising.
Writing: Students worked on the Find It, Decide It project to research a decision. Here is more about this project, due Friday, June 1.
Math: Students practiced changing fractions into decimals. Homework is to finish Journal P13-6.
Science: We did an experiment to learn that even organisms of the same kind have differences. Homework is to finish the bar graph of human traits started in class.
Social Studies: Students planned a government for a group of people stranded on an island. Homework is to finish the Designing a Government page.
