Class activities for Tuesday, September 11
Spelling: Students assembled their writer’s folders today. This includes a list of spelling words and other resources to help with spelling.
Cursive: Ten cursive sentences of seven or more words each are due on Fridays.
Reading: None today due to a presentation about September 11.
Writing: Students prepared their writer’s folders today. They also began think of some topics to write about this year. The first piece of writing, a personal narrative, will be due on Friday, September 21.
Math: We started a review of place value today. Homework is to finish Journal R1-1.
Science: None today due to our math skills practice time.
Social Studies: We watched a presentation to remember the events of September 11.
