Class activities for Friday, May 17
Spelling: None today.
Cursive: Ten cursive sentences of seven or more words each are due on Fridays.
Reading: Students started practicing plays from their Literature Circles magazines to share with the class.
Writing: None today due to extra time with science. A collection of poems will be due Tuesday, May 21 (new date).
Math: None today due to our field trip.
Science: We used a model to show how the arrangement of the sun, moon, and earth in space determine the moon phases we see . Homework is to finish the analysis on p. 47.
Social Studies: Students completed a test about declaring independence from Great Britain.
