Spelling: Students completed a spelling and skill test today.

Cursive: Cursive is completed for the year.

Reading: None today.

Writing: There are no new writing projects for the remainder of the year.

Math: None today due to Celebration of Life.

Science: We worked on our class garden, making it ready to plant sunflowers. We also found a nest of rabbits that were living in our garden box! We left a small area for the rabbits to live in until they leave.

Social Studies: We reviewed the Bill of Rights. Students will complete test about this tomorrow.

Today was the 5th Grade Celebration of Life. We listened to speaker talk about how important it is to value and appreciate human life, to keep “pressing on” and to “fight the good fight,” and to remember that it’s always darkest before the dawn. They we had a picnic lunch, with water games in the afternoon!
