Class activities for Thursday, September 8
Today was filled with more get-to-know-you activities, team-building and procedures. Here are some highlights:
- We played People Bingo to learn some crazy facts about each other.
- We practiced the fire drill.
- We played a game called Win as Much as You Can. We didn’t do so well because each team wanted to rule the world. We talked about looking for a win-win next time we play.
- We watched a video called Crash & Learn and talked about how crashes are a part of life and a good teacher if you can learn from them.
Notes:
- Team Day is Friday, September 9 from 10-11:30 am. The class will be completing team-building activities in student groups. Can you help? Instructions will be provided!
- School Supply list
- Students will need a pair of earbuds this year. Something inexpensive will be fine. Earbuds are preferred over large headphones that are hard to store and usually more expensive to replace.
