Class activities for Tuesday, March 17
Spelling: Today we reviewed consonant blends (cl, st, str, pt).
Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due Fridays.
Reading: Today Literature Circles groups continued to work on their projects to share their books with the class.
Writing: Students continued to work on their novel being written and typed at docs.mrhowd.com. Ask your student what their word count goal is and how many words they have written so far. Math: Students completed a math test today over these concepts:
- decimal addition and subtraction
- putting decimals in order
- metric measurement
- metric unit conversion
- number stories
Science: We reviewed electrical safety and took notes in our minibooks.
Social Studies: We read about the Three Fires people of Michigan and sang songs about them.
