Class activities for Monday, May 3
Spelling: We reviewed spelling patterns for the /or/ sound.
Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due on Fridays.
Reading: Today was a reading day in Literature Circles.
Writing: Students completed a piece of writing using the prompt, “A time I felt…”
Math: We reviewed powers of 10 and played a game to practice for tomorrow’s math test.
- Here’s a sample test and key for review (look for the chapter 5 test)
Science: We compared animal and plant needs today. Homework is to finish the comparison diagram if not finished in class.
Social Studies: We talked about how supply and demand affect the price of goods and services.
