Class activities for Friday, December 3
Spelling: Today was a preview of upcoming spelling words.
Cursive: Ten cursive sentences of seven or more words each are due on Fridays.
Reading: Students started practicing a monologue that they will read to the class to practice reading with speed, tone and volume.
Writing: We talked about including details to important scenes to slow them down and to help the reader to understand them more.
Our next piece of writing, a fiction piece, is due Monday, December 17. Students should be drafting at this time.
Math: None today due to STAR Friday.
Science: Students completed a district Science test today.
Studies: Groups shared their research about European Explorers today.
