Class activities for Monday, October 10
Spelling: Today was a preview of upcoming spelling words.
Cursive: Cursive pp. 21-23 are available and due Friday.
Reading: Today was a discussion day in Literature Circles.
Writing: Students worked on revising conferences today.
A personal narrative is due into portfolios on Monday, October 17. Students should be revising by looking back at their writing and finding ways to make it even better.
Math: We practiced division problems today. Homework is to finish Journal P1-6.
Science: Today was the conclusion of the Energy Fair!
Social Studies: We talked about how market economies have competition, they treat the consumer as king, and they offer incentives.
