Class activities for Tuesday, October 11

Spelling: None today due to students working on the Reading MEAP test.

Cursive: Cursive pp. 21-23 are available and due Friday.

Reading: None today due to students working on the Reading MEAP test.

Writing: None today due to our technology time.

A personal narrative is due into portfolios on Monday, October 17. Students should be revising by looking back at their writing and finding ways to make it even better.

Math: We reviewed division word problems today.

Science: We talked about the last Science experiment and learned that magnets stick to certain metals. Magnets also push and pull each other.

Social Studies: We talked about how market economies have workers that specialize by learning only certain jobs. Homework is to finish the Prediction Chart, pp. 7/8 started in class.
