Friday, November 4th, 2011Spelling: Students worked on their Words to Learn lists by correcting words they missed on the last spelling test.
Cursive: Cursive pp. 30-32 were due today.
Reading: None today due to an extended fire drill.
Writing: We talked about how all stories have three important ingredients:
- Characters
- Plot
- Setting
Students also worked on publishing today. A slightly fictionalized personal narrative is due Monday, November 7. Students should be publishing at this time.
Math: None today due to STAR Friday.
Science: We wrote notes about magnetism in our Magnet minibooks.
Social Studies: We reviewed how supply, demand and competition affect the price of goods.
