Class activities for Friday, December 9
Spelling: None today.
Cursive: Cursive pp. 48-50 are available and due Monday.
Reading: Today was a discussion day in Literature Circles. Students finished their books today and will work on projects to share their book with the class next.
Writing: We reviewed creating scenes in writing by including dialogue, description, senses and not giving away the ending too fast. Students also worked on revising conferences today. Homework is to finish the revising conference of not done in class.
The next piece of writing is a fiction story, due Friday, December 16. Students should be revising at this time.
Math: We reviewed rounding today.
Science: Students completed a science test today about magnetism and electricity.
Social Studies: None today.
