Hawaiian Beach Bash 2013
Today was our Hawaiian Beach Bash! Students surfed, tossed foam noodles, ate pineapple slices, danced to the Beach Boys, and tried to win the hula hoop contest! Later, it was Hawaiian pizza, Capri Suns and fruit kabobs! Thanks to all the families that helped with food, donations, decorations, games, setup and cleanup! Our party was totally tubular because of everyone’s help! Here’s a sneak peak at some pictures and videos from the party today!
Class activities: When we weren’t slicin’ sand, we did a little work. We practiced for an upcoming science MiniQuiz about magnetism. We also had editing conferences in which partners posted editing comments for our current personal narratives, which are due tomorrow.
