Class activities for Monday, September 22
Spelling: None today.
Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due on Fridays.
Reading: Students received new Literature Circles book groups today and planned how many pages to read each day.
Writing: Today was our technology time. We used this time to organize our Google Drive in order to store and share writing pieces this year.
Math: Students practiced math skills using MobyMax today. Homework is to practice math for 15 minutes or more using MobyMax or Khan Academy.
Science: We reviewed voluntary and involuntary muscles today.
Social Studies: We learned that American Indians migrated from Siberia to North America in search of big game. Reduced ocean levels during the ice age allowed a land bridge to form between Russia and Alaska. Homework is to finish the reading notes for section 2.3.
