Class activities for Monday, December 8
Spelling: None today.
Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due on Fridays.
Reading: Today was a reading day in Literature Circles.
Writing: Student worked on revising conferences today.
A fiction story is due Friday, December 12. Your student should be revising at this point and ready to start editing.
Math: Students started working on division skills today.
Homework is to practice math for 15 minutes or more using MobyMax or Khan Academy.
Science: We started an activity about a scientist that discovered the cause of the disease, Pellagra, by using scientific methods and completing an experiment.
Social Studies: We played a game to review information about famous explorers.
