Class activities for Friday, January 16
Spelling: Today was a spelling and skill test.
Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due on Fridays.
Reading: Today was a reading and AR skills practice day.
Writing: Students worked on publishing their adventure story website today.
The Choose Your Own Adventure fiction gamebook project is due Friday, January 16, but I told students that they could continue to make changes and improvements to their website this weekend. We’ll start a new project next week.
Math: Students practiced math skills using MobyMax Math. Here are some division skills we’ve been working on lately:
Homework is to practice math for 15 minutes or more using MobyMax or Khan Academy.
Science: We set up our next experiment about human variation.
Social Studies: We finished learning about Plymouth. Homework is to finish notebook p. 36.
