Class activities for Thursday, February 12
Spelling: Today was a spelling and skill test.
Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due on Fridays.
Reading: None today due to a fitness assembly.
Writing: We started looking at the resources below to gather topic ideas. A persuasive Letter to the Editor (guidelines) about a public policy issue facing the US will be due Friday, February 27.
Resources:
Math: We used MobyMax Math to practice math skills and also reviewed our recent division partner test. Here are some skills we’ve been working on lately:
Homework is to practice math for 15 minutes or more using MobyMax or Khan Academy, and to work on MobyMax FactMaster for 5 minutes.
Science: None today due to our math skills practice time.
Social Studies: Students started reading and taking notes about colonial regions.

- Our Feb Factor Valentine’s Party is tomorrow, February 13 from 12:30-3:30. Here’s our volunteer and guest list.
