Class activities for Thursday, September 10
Today was filled with more start-up activities and procedures. Here are some highlights:
- We watched a video called, “Crash and Learn,” and talked about how crashing and making mistakes are normal, and successful people know how to learn from their crashes.
- Students started using their MobyMax accounts. We’ll use MobyMax this year for math review and new learning, science, and reading practice.
- We also looked at some mission statements of famous companies and wrote our own: “All students in Room 130 will do their best and get ready for 5th grade.”
Notes:
- Team Day is Friday, September 11 from 10-11:30 am. The class will be completing team-building activities in student groups. Can you help? Instructions will be provided!
- School Supply list: one important item on the list is a dry erase marker.
- Students will need a pair of earbuds this year. Something inexpensive will be fine.
