Class activities for Tuesday, April 12
Spelling: None today.
Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due on Fridays.
Reading: Today was a reading day in Literature Circles; some groups worked on solving unknown words by breaking the word into chunks, and some worked on summarizing.
Writing: Students worked on finding information for their I-Search informational research project using books and websites. We’ll be collecting information for this week. The project is due on April 29. Students will share their research as a digital presentation during our I-Search Conference on April 29.
Math: None today due to extra time with science. We’ll have extra math tomorrow.
Homework is to practice MobyMax Math or Khan Academy for at least 15 minutes.
Science: We continued watching a documentary about if earth-like planets are special or common in the universe.
Social Studies: We wrote notes about how the government is organized into branches and levels.
