Class activities for Friday, March 2
Spelling: None today.
Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due Friday.

As shown above, we have achieved our yearly goal in February! We created a stretch goal to reach level 5.5 by June.
Writing: Students worked on editing conferences and editing today. We will finish some final publishing on Monday, including researching who to send the letter to and what their email address is.
Homework is to work on writing for 15 minutes if your student isn’t finished with their letter.
This persuasive letter project will be due Monday, March 5.
Here are some helpful resources:
Math: We played multiplication tic-tac-toe today and worked on solving number stories. Homework is to practice math for 15 minutes using MobyMax or Khan Academy.
Also, next week our class is going to have a Multiplication Madness math facts tournament! Teams will complete to answer math facts correctly. Students can practice for the tournament using MobyMax Fact Fluency, using flashcards, or this website.
Science: We reviewed our last experiment and started a new one, testing different ways to light a lightbulb in a circuit. Homework is to finish the Path Finders experiment.
Social Studies: Students used their market economy notes to complete a review page. Homework is to finish the Market Economy Ideas page started in class.
