Class activities for Monday, November 11
Spelling: None today.
Cursive: Cursive pp. 25, 26, 29 were due today. Cursive pp. 30-32 are available and are due Friday.
Reading: None today due to art.
Writing: We talked about writing complete scenes that have a mix of talking, action, and visual details.
Students also worked on drafting today.
A fiction story is due Sunday, November 24. Homework on weekdays is to work on writing for 15 minutes. Your student should be finished about half a page of their draft by tonight.
Math: Students worked on a STAR Math test today. Homework on weekdays is to practice math for 15 minutes using MobyMax or Khan Academy.
Science: None today due to an assembly.
Social Studies: We reviewed what we have learned about the branches of government. We will have a MiniQuiz about this soon.
Character Strength: We are learning about the #OtherPeopleMatter mindset this week.
