Class activities for Wednesday, October 17
Spelling: None today due to the Math MEAP test.
Cursive: Cursive pages 26-28 are available and are due Friday.
Reading: Today was the final discussion day in this practice cycle of Literature Circles.
Writing: Today was the last prewriting day, and students finished prewriting conferences, made lists or webs, completed a freewriting or made a beginning, middle and end chart. The next piece of writing, a personal narrative, is due on November 2.
Math: Today was the Math MEAP test.
Science: We graded the Investigation Review from Monday and took notes in our magnets minibook. A test over magnets will be on Monday.
Social Studies: We had a MiniQuiz over the Northeast today and learned today that the Midwest is famous for the plains, farming, the Great Lakes and weather is hotter and colder than the Northeast.
