Class activities for Thursday, October 18
Spelling: None today due to the Math MEAP test.
Cursive: Cursive pages 26-28 are available and are tomorrow.
Reading: Students started planning their Literature Circles projects to share their books with the class.
Writing: Today was the first drafting day, using the “ingredients” collected during prewriting. The next piece of writing, a personal narrative, is due on November 2.
Math: Today was the final day of the Math MEAP test.
Science: We practiced writing testable questions today for Science Inquiry.
Social Studies: We finished learning about the Midwest and learned that this region is famous for grain, iron ore, steel and automobile manufacturing. Homework is to finish the Alphabet Soup organizer.
