Math: None today due to extra time with Science.

Science: We learned that metals are conductors of electricity, and non-metals are usually insulators. However, we did an experiment and noticed that graphite (carbon pencil lead) and salt water are also electrical conductors, even though they are not metals. Students also created electromagnets today and tested how the number of coils of the electromagnet affects its magnetic force.

Social Studies: None due to art.

Behavior Update:

  • Yellow magnets: 2
  • Orange magnets: 0
  • Red magnets: 0
  • STAR Awards: 0
  • Magnets moved this week (goal: 10): 3
