Class activities for Tuesday, October 25
Spelling: We reviewed common long i spelling patterns by learning some famous idioms:
- behind the times
- right off the bat
- try out
- sit tight
Cursive: Cursive pp. 27-29 are available and due Friday.
Reading: Students received new Literature Circles groups today.
Writing: None today due to our technology time.
A personal narrative, slightly fictionalized, is due into portfolios on Friday, November 4. Students should be almost finished with drafting at this time.
Math: Students worked on a math test today about multiplication and division.
Science: Students completed an experiment about testing the strength of a magnet’s force over a distance. Homework is to finish the Breaking the Force experiment if not done in class.
Social Studies: We learned about how price, demand, supply, competition and substitute goods affect the choices consumers make when they purchase goods.

- Our Halloween party is a Hawaiian Beach Bash on Friday, October 28 from 9:30-12:00. We need family members to help with donations or during the party. Add your name to our Volunteer List if you can help or will be attending the party!
