Class activities for Wednesday, April 11

Spelling: Students worked on completing their Words to Learn lists by correcting words missed on the last spelling test.

Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due on Fridays.

Reading: Mrs. Kimball, our media specialist, taught a lesson about ebooks. Students can access ebooks from our school website using the link at the top right. Students can access the ebooks from any internet-connected computer by logging in with the last 5 digits of their student ID number, and using gb as the password.

Writing: Students continued to work on the next writing piece, the I-Search research project today. Students are collecting information from the internet and saving the information in Google Docs.

This informational project will be due Friday, April 27. Students should be looking for information to answer their research question at this point.

Math: Students practiced dividing four digit numbers. Homework is to finish Journal P10-7.
