Class activities for Thursday, December 12
Spelling: Today was a preview of upcoming spelling words.
Cursive: Cursive workbook pp. 52-57 are due on Monday.
Reading: Today was a discussion day in Literature Circles.
Writing: We learned about how each scene in a story should contain a mix of talking, action, and visual details.
Our current piece of writing is a fiction story, due Monday, December 16. Your student should be editing by now.
Math: We practiced estimating sums and differences by rounding. Journal P4-2 is the corresponding Journal page. Students also practiced math skills using Moby Max Math.
Science: Students completed an electricity science test today.
Social Studies: None today due to art.

- Bring a Family Member to School Day was today! Thanks to everyone that visited. Students practiced computer coding using Light-bot. Here’s a version to play at home.
