Class activities for Friday, February 7
Spelling: None today.
Cursive: Cursive workbook pp. 69-72 are due Friday.
Reading: Today was our reading skills and AR practice day.
Writing: Students completed revising and editing conferences for their literary essay, which is due Monday, February 10 (new date). Students should be finished revising and editing their essay at this point.
Math: We practiced multiplying tens and hundreds today. Journal P5-2 corresponds.
Science: Students practiced measuring liquids using a graduated cylinder. Homework is to finish the “Measuring Liquids” activity if not done in class.
Social Studies: Students completed a MiniQuiz about public and private goods and services. We reviewed the idea that government provides public goods and services to keep people safe and help people. We also reviewed for next week’s economics test.
