Spelling: We started a spelling and skill test today.

Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due on Friday.

Reading: None today due to working on a special project. Ask us on Sunday what it was.

Writing: None today due to a physical education and nutrition lesson from a guest teacher.

A collection of poems will be due Friday, May 16.

Math: None today. Homework is to work on MobyMax Math or Khan Academy for 15 minutes or more.

Science: We made our second measurement of our Best Lettuce Experiment, looking at height, leaf shape, and color.

We are also continuing to work on our plant needs experiments (photos here).

Social Studies: We continued learning about the Bill of Rights and how they protect Americans.

Spelling: We practiced identifying and making sentences for homographs, words that have more than one meaning.

Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due on Friday.

Reading: Today was a reading practice day using MobyMax Reading.

Writing: Today, we learned that writing a poem in fragments, not complete sentences, can make the poem musical.

A collection of poems will be due Friday, May 16.

Math: Students completed a progress test in MobyMax and then worked on math skills practice. Homework is to work on MobyMax Math or Khan Academy for 15 minutes or more.

Science: None today. View our plant needs experiments (photos here).

Social Studies: We started learning about the Bill of Rights and how the protect Americans. Here’s a quick review:
