Class activities for Thursday, June 5
Spelling: We reviewed compound words, consonant blends, and suffixes today. We’ll have a spelling and skill test tomorrow. The skill test will be about compound words.
Cursive: There will be no new cursive assignments this year.
Reading: None today.
Writing: There are no new writing projects this year. The Find It, Decide It research project should be completed by now. We are also publishing our novels using Lulu.com.
Math: None today. Students have been continuing to work on completing fraction and geometry skills in Khan Academy by the end of fourth grade. Homework is to work on MobyMax Math or Khan Academy for 15 minutes or more, and to level up on any unfinished math skills.
Science: Students work on a life science district assessment today, and we planted our courtyard garden with wildflower seeds today.
Social Studies: None today.
