Class activities for Friday, October 3
Spelling: None today.
Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due on Fridays.
Reading: Today was a reading skills practice day using MobyMax.
Writing: Students continued to revise their narrative today. A personal narrative is due on Friday, October 10. Your student should be revising at this time.
Math: We practiced rounding whole numbers and decimals using place value. Students also practiced math skills using MobyMax Math.
Here’s the skills we’ll be working on for the coming days. Maybe your student will have time to work on them at home:
Homework is to practice math for 15 minutes or more using MobyMax or Khan Academy.
Science: We wrote notes about the respiratory system and started to learn about the nervous system. Homework is to finish the “Beautiful Brain” and “Spinal Signals” review pages.
Social Studies: None today due to our math skills practice time.
