Class activities for Tuesday, October 21
Spelling: Students completed a spelling and skill test today.
Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due on Fridays.
Reading: Today was a discussion day in Literature Circles.
Writing: Students worked on drafting for their next personal narrative.
A personal narrative, slightly fictionalized, is due Friday, October 31. Your student should be nearing the end of their draft by now.
Math: We practiced looking for hidden questions in multiple step word problems. Students also practiced math skills using MobyMax. Homework is to practice math for 15 minutes or more using MobyMax or Khan Academy.
Science: None today due to extra time with social studies.
Social Studies: Students completed a test about American Indian cultural regions.
