Class activities for Tuesday, March 31

Spelling: None today.

Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due on Fridays.

Reading: We performed our class play twice this morning for the school. The class received many compliments!

Writing: We continued to work on our next writing project, the I-Search informational research project. Students will share their research as a digital presentation during our I-Search Conference on April 24.  Today, students continued to collect research. We also talked about how to select trustworthy information.

Math: None today due to our class play.

Here are recent skills that should be finished:

It would be helpful for students to continue working on these skills at home if they haven’t had enough time in class to master them.

Homework is to practice math for 15 minutes or more using MobyMax or Khan Academy, and to work on MobyMax FactMaster for 5 minutes.

Science: We started an experiment about how changing the weight of an object affects the force needed to pull the object.

Social Studies: None today due to our class play.
