Class activities for Monday, April 13
Spelling: We reviewed homophones today.
Cursive: Ten cursive sentences, seven or more words each, are due on Fridays.
Reading: Today was a discussion day in Literature Circles.
Writing: Students continued to collect research for the I-Search informational research project, due on May 1. Students will share their research as a digital presentation during our I-Search Conference on May 1.
Math: Students practiced adding and subtracting fractions today in MobyMax.

It would be helpful for students to continue working on these skills at home if they haven’t had enough time in class to master them.
Homework is to practice math for 15 minutes or more using MobyMax or Khan Academy, and to work on MobyMax FactMaster for 5 minutes.
Science: We reviewed our last experiment about the relationship between speed and braking distance.
Social Studies: We learned about the skilled trades and social life of American colonists.
